Today, March 8th we celebrate women! Today is International Women’s Day and around the world we celebrate, respect, love and advocate for women of any and all backgrounds. This year’s theme of International Women’s Day is Be Bold for Change, which is leading the campaign for equal gender treatment all over the world. Since International Women’s Day began in the early 1900’s women have come leaps and bounds but there are still barriers we must work together towards eliminating! This International Women’s Day ask yourself, what can you do to be bold for change? If you want to join other women to support causes as diverse as assistance to refugees, statewide historic preservation, and a park that includes a site of public conscience, please go to 100EW and become part of a unique way to give and be recognized.
