Funding Goal: $100,000

We have an opportunity to make a big impact in the epidemic of abandoned and dumped animals in our rural area of central Texas .

Please clearly indicate (in the comment section at checkout) the name of the person you would like to recognize or if you like to remain anonymous.

As the area’s only no-kill animal shelter, LARAS House helps hundreds of dogs and cats each year through sheltering, fostering and adopting.  Last year, we were able to find homes for more than 550 animals, save almost 800 lives through intakes and reduce the risk of unwanted puppies and kittens by spaying and neutering almost 500 pets.  Sadly, we still turned away about 50 dogs per month due to lack of resources. While we are actively saving lives, our community continues to face a dire epidemic of overpopulation, animal dumping, and animal abandonment. We know the only way to change this is to find a way to control the overpopulation problem. While we have made progress, we need your help to make our efforts go even further. We invite you to partner with us as we continue lifesaving efforts in our rural area of central Texas.
